From July 17 to 21, a delegation comprising five tea producers from Fujian’s Wuyishan City paid a visit to the Republic of Karelia for the China-Russia Tea Culture Festival, who showcased Chines tea culture to the Russian people through various activities, including tea ceremony performances, lectures, and tea fairs.

Meanwhile, another Fujian delegation made up by journalists, travel agents and bloggers was also there. Apart from attending the tourism promotion event during the Festival in Kizhi, the delegation visited many famous tourist attractions such as the wooden churches, Lake Ladoga, the filming location of The Dawns Here Are Quiet, and the canyon of marble. Through their lens and pens, they introduced Karelia’s natural scenery and culture to Fujian people on newspaper, radio, television and social media, and facilitated mutual understanding and cooperation between the two sides.
