The "Silk Road Maritime" e-commerce express marked its third anniversary on June 10. Under the supervision of Xiamen Customs, 662 standard containers laden with cross-border e-commerce goods were loaded, and the cargo vessel departed on schedule for Manila Port in the Philippines. This milestone pushes the express route's cumulative container throughput beyond the 100,000 TEU mark.

As a key achievement of China's first Belt and Road international integrated logistics service platform with a maritime theme, the "Silk Road Maritime" e-commerce express provides direct shipping service from Xiamen Port to Manila Port.

Capable of delivering domestic cross-border e-commerce goods to the Philippines within just two days, this route precisely meets import-export demands through small batches, high frequency, and strict timeliness in the e-commerce sector, establishing itself as a preferred channel for the industry.

The "Silk Road Maritime" platform has actively established a comprehensive service standard system covering multiple logistics chain segments including ports and shipping.

Xiamen Port provides premium green-channel services for the e-commerce express route, including direct berthing privileges, early yard entry, container priority, and even prioritized berthing rights for post-typhoon resumption of operations, offering exceptional services for time-sensitive e-commerce shipments.

Xiamen Customs has pioneered an innovative "bonded zone + e-commerce" cross-border trade model within the comprehensive bonded zone, implementing a pilot "pre-clearance before loading" mechanism for e-commerce goods. This breakthrough approach permits flexible consolidated exports of cleared e-commerce merchandise with other customs-approved cargo, enhancing operational efficiency.
