A six-episode documentary, titled "All the Way to the Sea", examining economic and cultural ties between China and Indonesia, aired on Fujian Television's Comprehensive Channel from Feb 24 to March 1, drawing public attention after Wang Lutong, China's ambassador to Indonesia, promoted the series four times on social media.
The production team traveled across Java Island, where it conducted interviews with 51 people at 37 locations to document bilateral projects and exchanges. Among those interviewed was Muhammad Qodari, head of the Executive Office of the President (KSP), who spoke about Indonesia's support for the "Two Countries, Twin Parks" initiative in Batang and plans to develop an industrial hub following Shenzhen's model.
The documentary also features the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, known as "Whoosh", where Hanggoro Budi Wiryawan, the first president director of PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia-China (KCIC), described how the railway has become a symbol of speed and efficiency in Indonesia and stimulated economic growth along its route.

In addition, Wang Siping, cultural counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, recounted the cultural exchanges and growing mutual understanding since taking up his post, while Sun Shangbin, chairman of China Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia and president of the Jakarta branch of Bank of China, described the expanding flow of trade between the two countries and the role of Chinese businesses abroad.
