A media delegation exploring the 30-year history of Fujian-Ningxia cooperation visited Fuzhou on July 17, documenting projects and businesses that have driven cooperation between the two provinces.

The delegation visited SCUD Group in Mawei district, where it learned about a vocational training program launched in 2012 to support students from low-income families in Ningxia. The program provides free skills training, covering tuition, room, and board, and helps graduates secure internships and employment opportunities. The Ningxia Sanjiang Technician School, established under the program, adopts a special training model, with students spending one year studying in Ningxia, one year receiving practical training in Fuzhou, and one year completing internships.

At the Ningxia Liupanshan Specialty Products Pavilion, the delegation viewed products such as beef from Jingyuan county and black goji berries, all sourced directly from producers with traceable origins.

Lin Jinyun, chairman of Fujian Minningqing Trading, shared his experience in promoting Ningxia agricultural products in Fujian. Since establishing the company in 2018, Lin has partnered with 47 Ningxia agricultural enterprises and helped market and sell nearly 300 types of products. The company has opened 16 specialty stores in Fujian, with cumulative sales reaching 436 million yuan ($64.39 million).
