A specialized "Cross-Strait Harmony" (G1674) high-speed train officially departed on Feb 3, serving as a mobile platform for cross-Strait cultural exchange during the Chinese New Year rush. Traveling through major hubs like Fuzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xiamen, and Wenzhou, the initiative aims to help turn Fuzhou into a top destination for Taiwan residents and enterprises seeking integrated development in Fujian province.

The themed train features a curated program of cultural performances, folk traditions, and policy briefings detailing employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people from Taiwan. Passengers engaged in traditional Spring Festival activities, such as writing spring couplets and woodblock printing, while learning about regional development initiatives. These activities are designed to strengthen people's sense of cultural identity and showcase the efficiency of China's high-speed rail network during the peak holiday season.

Among the passengers were around 30 young people from Taiwan visiting Fuzhou for the holiday, many of whom were experiencing the Chinese mainland's high-speed rail system for the first time. Participants lauded the region's advanced high-speed rail network and expressed interest in pursuing careers in the region.

Upon arriving at Lianjiang Railway Station, the group visited the Kuilongfang historic district, including the Fuzhou Fish Ball Museum, to study the historical and cultural links between Fujian and Taiwan.
