People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan visits Fujian

A delegation of 23 members from the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, led by First Deputy Chairman Maliksho Nematzoda, visited Fujian province from April 20 to 24, touring Fuzhou, Ningde, and Xiamen to learn about grassroots governance and cultural preservation.

Zhang Yan, a member of the Standing Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, met the delegation in Fuzhou on April 22. Zhang welcomed the group and briefed them on Fujian's economic achievements, expressing willingness to strengthen exchanges, expand cooperation, and contribute to the common development of China and Tajikistan.

Nematzoda thanked Fujian for its warm reception and introduced Tajikistan's recent development and its cooperation with China over the past few years. He said the visit offered firsthand insight into China's achievements and expressed his hope to deepen cooperation and further advance bilateral ties.

In Fuzhou, the group visited an exhibition marking the 30th anniversary of the "3820" strategic project. In Ningde, the delegation toured an exhibition on poverty alleviation efforts and visited the headquarters of Contemporary Amperex Technology, gaining insight into local industrial growth.

The visit concluded in Xiamen, where the delegation visited Yundang Lake, the Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital Xiamen University, and Zijin Mining, with the visit highlighting public health development and cooperation opportunities between Tajikistan and Fujian-based enterprises.
