Held under the theme "Mapping the Future of Global Investment", this year's AIM Congress — a "sister event" to CIFIT — drew government and business leaders, investors, and corporate representatives from over 150 countries. A highlight was the series forums on Chinese Investment Opportunities, underscoring the growing two-way appeal between Middle Eastern and Chinese markets.
CIFIT 2025: A Global Platform for Investment Innovation
Scheduled for September 8-11 in Xiamen, the 25th CIFIT will focus on three pillars: "Invest in China", "Chinese Investment", and "International Investment". The event will feature themed exhibitions, policy releases, industry dialogues, and matchmaking sessions, expecting over 5,000 enterprises, 50,000 professional attendees, and representatives from 100+ countries and regions. The United Kingdom will serve as the Guest Country of Honor, respectively, hosting specialized promotional activities.
In a landmark collaboration, UNCTAD will co-organize the "Future Investment Conference" at CIFIT, envisioned as Asia's answer to the World Investment Forum and a Davos-style summit for global investors. The conference will convene sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms, development banks, and innovation hubs to address pressing topics such as evolving investment trends, supply chain restructuring, and tech-driven industrial policies.
Global Roadshows Ignite Momentum
CIFIT's global promotional campaign is in full swing, with events like the monthly government-enterprise dialogues, the "Investment Tour", and "CIFIT X Exchange" building anticipation. A flagship "Invest in China" roadshow held in London on April 4 attracted 300+ Chinese and British officials, businesses, and industry associations. Xiamen Vice Mayor Lin Zhicheng spotlighted CIFIT's role as a premier platform for international investment, extending invitations to UK enterprises. Additional roadshows are planned for Beijing, Guangzhou, Jiangsu, Hong Kong, and Macao to broaden participation.

During AIM, the CIFIT Organizing Committee signed a strategic agreement with Phoenix New Media Limited, a leading global Chinese-language media group. Witnessed by AIM Director-General Walid Farghal, Liu Meng (Asia Pacific Director, UN Global Compact), and Vladimir Norov (former SCO Secretary-General), the partnership aims to amplify CIFIT's global influence through brand promotion, content dissemination, and resource connectivity. Chi Xiaoyan, Executive Director of Phoenix New Media, pledged to leverage media expertise to elevate CIFIT's authority and foresight in international investment.
Moving forward, CIFIT will expand its media network, including collaborations with Phoenix and its own digital platforms, to amplify "investment voices" worldwide. As the 25th edition approaches, CIFIT continues to solidify its position as a cornerstone for global economic cooperation and cross-border opportunities.
