This technology has enhanced various services like policy consultation, hotline assistance, digital people creation, and more, boosting the efficiency of smart government affairs and aiding in content creation and e-commerce platform development.

Xiamen University's Institute of Artificial Intelligence aims to address national strategic challenges by building a new quality productive forces AI enabling engine, facilitating the integration of AI science and technology with education and talent development along the BRICS and the Maritime Silk Road.

With the rapid development of AI, concerns have risen about the misuse of deepfake technology, leading to issues like AI face-swapping scams and AI-generated fake news. Xiamen Meiya Pico Information Co Ltd has tackled these concerns through its "Meiya Authentication" applications, allowing users to detect AI-generated content efficiently and accurately.

At Meitu company's futuristic showroom, journalists experienced the innovative "AI virtual dressing" feature of the beauty camera, showing realistic clothing textures and wrinkles in uploaded photos. Meitu's advanced technology, based on clothing segmentation and human skeleton recognition, leads the industry in realism, body posture, and background integration.

Overall, the tour highlighted Xiamen's advancements in AI, showcasing achievements in talent development, research investment, and technology applications by leading enterprises in the city.
