Drâa-Tafilalet Delegation of Morocco Visits Fujian

At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), Mr Hro Abrou, President of the Drâa-Tafilalet Regional Council, Morocco, visited Quanzhou, Fujian Province from April 17 to 18.

On April 17, Governor Zhao Long met with President Abrou and his delegation in Quanzhou. Both of them agreed to deepen practical cooperation on industry, trade, green energy, culture and tourism. Together, they witnessed the signing of letter of intent for sisterhood between Fujian and Drâa-Tafilalet, and an MOU on friendship and cooperation between CPAFFC and Morocco-China Friendship and Exchange Association.

The Drâa-Tafilalet delegation attended the Global Travel Agents (Fujian) Conference and 2024 Fujian Provincial Conference on the Development of Cultural and Tourism Economy. Their itinerary also includes visits to the Holy Tomb (Lingshan Islamic Cemetry), Quanzhou Maritime Museum, and Qingjing Mosque.
