Delegation from Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation Visits Fujian

In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, a 14-member delegation from the Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation visited Fujian from June 22 to 25, at the invitation of Fujian Provincial Foreign Affairs Office.

On June 24, Remembering Heroes: The Flying Tigers Historical Photo Exhibition, jointly organized by Fujian Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation, opened at Fujian Museum. Vice Governor Wang Jinfu of Fujian Province and Jeffrey Greene, Chairman of the Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation, attended and addressed the opening ceremony. The exhibition features hundreds of precious historical photographs and select artifacts, showcasing the Flying Tigers’ heroic actions alongside the Chinese soldiers and civilians in the fight for justice. It highlights the enduring spirit of mutual assistance and the deep historical friendship between China and the United States.

During their stay in Fujian, the delegation held discussions with faculty and students at Lianjiang No.1 Middle School to advance the Flying Tigers Friendship School program, to which nine schools in the province have joined to date. They also visited Guling, where they participated in a shared reading event of the book “Eleven Stamps”, and shared moving stories of wartime camaraderie between the Flying Tigers and Chinese people with Chinese and American students.
